Engineering Philosophy & Background
I am an Industrial & Production Engineering student at Shahjalal University of Science and Technology (SUST) in Sylhet, Bangladesh. My work bridges physical robotics, neural computing, and operations optimization to build systems that produce tangible, measurable humanitarian value.
As an empirical researcher, I co-authored a nationwide baseline study surveying 795 commercial poultry farms across 35 districts in Bangladesh, published in Elsevier's flagship Journal of Ethnopharmacology (Q1, Impact Factor ~5.4). The study documents a 43.6% within-group reduction in antibiotic use through ethnoveterinary remedies, linking veterinary ethnopharmacology with global One Health antimicrobial resistance stewardship.
On the hardware front, I founded Team SignTalk, designing a 9-DoF sensory smart glove that translates sign language gestures into real-time synthesized speech. Our team won competitive pre-seed funding from the SUST Innovation Hub and achieved global semifinalist recognition at the Rice360 Global Health Tech Design Competition in Houston, Texas.
