The Reproducibility Imperative in Scientific Software

One of the greatest challenges facing the modern artificial intelligence and computational engineering disciplines is the software reproducibility crisis. Repositories on code-hosting platforms can experience bit-rot, altered commit histories, or accidental deletions. For academic research to be truly defensible, software artifacts must be treated as first-class scientific publications — complete with immutable versioning, permanent Digital Object Identifiers (DOIs), and rigorous metadata indexing.

To advance the principles of Open Science and ensure long-term reproducibility, I have permanently archived 10 flagship open-source software repositories on CERN Zenodo — the European Organization for Nuclear Research's open-access repository funded by the European Commission.
